randomness during our staycation...

It's Friday! We have enjoyed the week of random wanderings and activities. A visit to the Glore Psychiatric Museum in St.Joe was weird and interesting. We rode the motorcycles and had a good dinner. We have also spent some time just going with the flow. We poked around in the antique mall and thrift store as well as just randomly stopping at various places. We all like to meander but usually we don't have the luxury. Yesterday we hung out at home and hit the city pool for awhile. In other news, I am almost buried under cantaloupes! This year is the best ever production. I have lots of tomatoes and zucchini as well. Yummmy! My favorite meal of choice this summer is sliced zucchini, onions, garlic, and red peppers tossed in olive oil, salt and pepper all grilled together. I throw in tomato chunks or cherry tomatoes at the last minute. Delish! We are almost ready for next week. It will be crazy I'm sure. Back to school and the fair. I have got to find a way to get some running and biking in despite the crazy schedule. September 8th and the Wakarusa Off-Road will be here soon! I hope your transition to August is going well. It is always a transition time in my life, I'm sure it's the whole connection to kids and school. Enjoy these last weeks of summer my friends!
