Yep, I managed to run right past this TOTALLY SCARY hornet’s nest once. When trail running, you alternate between looking at your feet and looking ahead at the trail. I must have had magical timing to pass it WITHOUT crashing right into it!! I mean really!! You can see the trail, this nest was hanging at head level just a bit to the side of the trail. I was praying as I wogged: “God, please keep me safe, healthy and protect me today and on Saturday for this race!” Must have been paying off because I passed right by and then spotted it on the wog back through. Thank GOD!! Now that I know where it is, I can wog right past it anytime I want!
