167 what was fun today?

It was a bit of a lazy day today.  I pondered the occasional envy that I have for others who haven’t got a schedule each day.  Who are flex, laid back, choose each day what to do when… I enjoy those days but I also enjoy the days that I am “busy”.   Today I piddled and did a few chores that were long overdue.  I am catching up in the garden and preparing to spread that mulch!  I had fun working in the garden.  I am getting closer to that Adventure Race.  Yikes!  Exercised each day this weekend and rode the bike again tonight.  The most fun today was hearing about Marek having fun at his friend Ethan’s house.  Marek has been wanting to ride horses for months now but we have had trouble committing to the Youth Group option because of baseball.  Today, he had time to hang out at Ethan’s and just go with the flow.  He helped with some chores and then they went riding.  He really had fun!  I am glad that he has diverse interests and diverse friends.  He is a good boy.  I am proud of him and pray that he will find happiness and contentment in his life now and always.
