WHAT a WEEK! 110, 111, 112

Well, things have been Hopping!!  Millions of things to do at home and at school this week.  Most have been good, some have been hard and a few have been hilarious!  All have kept me running!  On Mother’s Day, Marcus gifted me a new camera.  AWESOME!  I love this False Indigo, native to Kansas and many parts of the Midwest.  This is an extra shot from Mother’s Day - just for fun!

Monday was busy!  I don’t even remember what I did!  Lol!  Time is flying past right now.  Oh, yes.  I took some pictures that help me remember!!  I had a busy day at school then squeezed in a bike ride before BOE meeting.  I used my cool new bike rack with my cool old bike and took a quick spin.  I am hoping for lots of riding this summer.  My fitness has been maintaining but I would like to skinny up my butt and thighs!  Biking is great for that!  Plus, biking is a bit fast and maybe cooler than wogging!  Number 110…

Tuesday was another full day.  I felt overwhelmed and swamped at school.  Big events are in the works and that is always stressful.  However, there is always a bright side.  I enjoyed my group exercise class, exercising really makes a difference in energy and attitude!  When I got home I enjoyed a great walk through the woods while the boys were at baseball practice.  111…

Wednesday I took 7 students to Worlds of Fun, an amusement park in Kansas City.  It was actually pretty amazing.  Each year we take a trip to reward the students who earn the highest levels of our system.  Fun times!  I didn’t take any pictures though.  Didn’t seem logical to take the camera when I would have to stick it in a cubby or pile while riding!  I thoroughly enjoyed the day and then the ride home.  Four boys spent the last two hours of our time together cracking me up!!  They were so hilarious and ridiculous.  Just pure teenaged fun.  I almost peed my pants and pop almost came out my nose while we were at Dairy Queen eating junk food.  I laughed so hard I cried.  They did too.  One boy said, “This is the best day of my life so far!”  I’m sure he may have been exaggerating but the true joy at the moment was pretty awesome to witness!  When we got back to town, I parked the school van and took some pictures as the clouds rolled in full of rain.  #112 so Kansas!

I have had a week full of craziness.  Ups and downs, sunny skies and storms.  I am glad that the high points have been great because they really help make a tough week good.  I am eagerly looking forward to summer break so that I can refresh and rejuvenate.  Not to mention clean my house and weed my garden!  Spend some quality time with the fam and the friends!  Going to be a good summer, but first it will be a great day tomorrow!  We are doing a ginormous project at school.  I am optimistic and eager!  I hope your week has been full of less craziness and more happiness.  What is working for you??
