#106 and 107 Friday and Saturday

Well, Friday and Saturday were better than these photos depict!  I enjoyed my Friday at school.  We tidied a garden for the administrative offices in the morning and took a hike in the afternoon!  It was a beautiful day and the kids were super good and fun.  I love hiking the Old Military Trail – it is hilly, rocky, challenging and has beautiful scenery.  We didn’t hike far, a couple of miles, but we enjoyed it.  I always like a hike in the woods.  I found these little “Jack in the Pulpit flowers.  They are unique.  DSCF2245

Saturday we spent the day with our dear friends.  Jolene and I took the boys to the Ozawkie city wide garage sales (didn’t find much) then off to ball practice.  Matt was able to practice with Marek’s team.  Fun!  We got some awesome deli sandwhiches from the Mennonite Deli in town.  Delish!  We made it to the Great Wolf Lodge by about 2:30!  The boys were thrilled.  I sincerely enjoyed the day with Jolene.  Great conversation and much to ponder.  Marcus and Marty did some “guy” shopping.  I think that we all really needed a day to hang out.  We ended with dinner and beers at the Long House.  Good food and good friends!  However, I didn’t end up taking ANY Photos the whole day!  Instead, I took this after 11pm when we were finally home.  Hmmm…. not the best but WHAT A GREAT DAY!!  DSCF2261

I hope your days have been full of blessing and not drama.  Life is full of challenges.  The best approach is to move forward and look at the bright side!  I know that it sounds naive, but it is the best way to overcome the difficulty! Hope things are coming together for you!
