Sunday! #102

Well, I am thankful for the fullness of my life most recently.  While it was a busy weekend, I sincerely enjoyed every moment.  The background music for the month of May is wild, rushed and overpowering.  We have 20 days of school left which means 20 days left to pack the entire school for moving.  We have multiple commitments in our personal lives – baseball, 4H, graduation, church.  All of these things are wonderful and fulfilling but occasionally insane!

I had a great week this week.  I sincerely enjoyed the hour I spent with Jennifer on Wednesday.  Good to walk and catch up.  I am loving the weekly time with my good friend!  I also appreciate the time boundaries, it is great to know that we can squeeze in the hour and still fulfill our family obligations.  On Thursday, I enjoyed yoga then ran around to get the supplies we needed for school on Friday.  Somewhat stressful, but I enjoyed the hour at the high school baseball game chatting and watching the kids.

Friday I enjoyed the day working with my students planning a raised bed garden and measuring all the points.  The day ended with a wonderful visit from my friend Julie – good conversation and good garden time!

Saturday, I had a great day.  Marek had ball practice and I enjoyed completely relaxing alone with no distractions from thought. DSC_0468

I sat at the old Ozawkie Cemetery and was contemplative at the foot of this cross.   Good, but almost weird as I am almost always doing.  I felt good being disconnected from the world and focused on creation around me. I may make a goal to spend at least 30 minutes at one time each week sitting and contemplating life.

It was a beautiful day.  DSC_0466 I also had a great time at The Grainery with friends and great music.  Awesome dancing and fun times with friends!  Marcus is a DSCF2164great performer and fun to watch.  As ever, I couldn’t catch up with everyone as much as I would have like but I enjoyed the whole night!   I really love to dance, talk and listen to music.  We don’t do it often enough!  I love Marcus’s band.  They are awesome and soooo much fun!  (I know I’m biased but really, they are pretty fun and awesome!)

Sunday was full of action but awesome nonetheless.  Here is #102, the 4H’ers made May Baskets and delivered them to 20 elderly folks around town.  They had a blast ringing bells and running away!

DSCF2204 I am blessed and know itSo thankful!  What a great week!  Now to recover from all this running and lack of sleep!  I am looking forward to a good and relaxing Monday.  Ha!  Hope your week has been fantabulous and full of fun, friends and fantastic-ness!  Look forward to everything you can and enjoy each moment.  The moments pass so rapidly it is best to be in the moment!
