Well, another full week has gone past. It was SO fast! I enjoyed many things this week and so did my loved ones. Enjoyment with family and friends has been the new norm. I am feeling pretty luck to spend enjoyable time with darn near everyone this week. A few good days with my students at school (outside is AsEsoMe!) and vicarious joy for Marek and Marcus after they attended a White Sox vs. Royals game. Marek said, “This is the best day I’ve had in a loong time!” Overall a good week for the fam!
This evening we attended the Oskaloosa PTO Carnival. The volunteers have done such an awesome job with this for the last few years. I used to help with the carnival and the PTO but then I was elected to the Board of Education. I was actually just re-elected. Yippee! I decided that the BOE commitment was sufficient for service to my school. The PTO Carnival is super fun for the kids. I also think most of the activities would be loved by teenagers and adults as well. The killer is that the PTO Carnival is fun for adults for about 20 minutes and fun for the kids for hours! This game looked awesomely fun. Marek and a several friends had a blast wacking the crap out of each other in this challenge!
Fun times! Marek was the champeen!! Marcus and I did enjoy chatting with each other and a wide array of other parents throughout the evening. Have you been to a PTO Carnival lately?? Shooee! I hope you found some people to chat with while you were there!
