199, 200
Saturday and Sunday August 6th and 7th!
So, you are noticing that we have been pretty entertained this last week or so… well, it has continued! After the fair, we took off to attend the Lutheran Family Retreat at a conference center near Salina, Kansas. I enjoyed the beautiful drive between Topeka and Manhattan on I-70 but didn’t have time to stop and take any pictures, much to my sadness. I really think that drive through the Flint Hills is the most beautiful stretch of road in Kansas!
The family retreat was great. A wide range of families joined together to fellowship. The theme was living on the edge with Jesus – Acts 4. We did several bible studies, enjoyed a gajillion activities and relaxed! It was a refreshing weekend in many ways.
Marek did the climb and zip line twice! This is my official #199!
I managed it once! Terrifying but exhilarating all at once!
#200!! Sunday afternoon at camp…more challenges …
My little boy is brave and strong and smart and faithful and not so little any more!
