Fair clean up day dawned wet and cooler than we could have hoped! It was humid but so much nicer than the triple digits we have had all week! Here are a few shots of this pig barn prior to the clean up! Taken on Thursday which is the day of the sale. All the animals are sold in the ring. This shot shows an empty barn on Friday morning but on Thursday evening, the barn was full of action!
Pigs they are what’s for dinner!! The kids are proud of the hard work, sad to sell their hogs but happy to get the money they earn. It is an interesting process to observe. I really love the 4H program and all that it offers to youth. It is great to watch them learn and grow as individuals. A lot of work but a big pay off for each youth in life experience. Awesome! Glad the fair is over though!!!
