I have been fascinated all week by this farm pond on the way to the fair. Each day we have caught a glimpse as we drove past. The entire pond is covered with water lilies in bloom. Finally, I stopped to snap a photo. I didn’t want to climb the fence so this is what I got on Wednesday …
But on Thursday when I drove past, I saw horses standing alongside the pond. They were beautiful horses dipping into the pond so I slammed on the brakes and hopped out. I ran through the ditch to snap a shot but those horses were curious. They all turned to see me…
Then began to gallop away.
I was sad at first but realized that they were just running to get closer to me! They were curious and beautiful! My photos don’t really do them justice but I really enjoyed the moments! A nice touch to a long week.
