Yep, number 215! Can you believe it? Are you bored with this endless plan of mine? Any favorite shots? I have been learning more about photography… I hope that I can take a class this winter at Wolf’s in Topeka. Meanwhile, I am working to get back into a routine with school. Marek is out for football. Can’t remember if I had already told you that but it is awesome for freeing me up from 3:45 to 6 each day! Not so much for him! I hated to say, “I told ya so.” but like any good mom I did! He is liking it but he’s definitely missing his free time and freedom of choice. Meanwhile, I am using the time to hit the trails! This week I will hit the trail and the garden and I have a girls night out WITH THE KAYAK planned for Wednesday! I figure that I should be taking advantage of the gorgeous weather we are having! Hoping to firm up some plans for labor day weekend with the family soon. Perhaps a motorcycle ride? Hmmm… meanwhile the shot of the day is a series… I love this moth! A Humming Bird Moth! A quick trip to research this moth has left me needing more information. There are many types of hummingbird moths and I am not sure which type this is. I will ponder this …
How amazing is this? He uses his long probiscus to suck up some awesome nectar! He flies around almost as fast as a real Hummingbird and sounds all buzzy like a humming bird too. He is tough to photograph unless you have copious quantities of these cool tube type flowers (native, don’t know the name!).
