Yep, today was a great day! As I remember it, last Tuesday was pretty good too! Fun times as I return to school. I really do enjoy my job. Each day is different and I am always challenged by something! Today was a sweet day of back to school honeymoon fun at JDLA. It was also the last day of freedom for Marek before 6th grade. Wow! How time flies! I know it's trite but really! He was just a cute little kindergartener! He has selected some super handsome clothes for day one and has his backpack all packed up - ready to go. We will see if we can make it to the bus stop at 7:10 am! Shockingly that seems too early to me so maybe he will get a ride. With our differing school start times it works for me to drop him off then head to work. He likes the bus though, great socializing with his peeps I guess.
I am ready for school. I've been swamped with activities the last three weeks. Vacation, fair, fight against diabetes - I need a job to keep me reined in and organized! Looking forward to fall, school and a routine. I know, I'm a nerd. Meeting my goal of early to bed - or at least earlier! It's only 11 early for my summer schedule! Ahhhh, well, off to sleep for now.
Big day tomorrow! First day of sixth grade!
