The first day of sixth grade

Today was Marek's first day of sixth grade, his last first day of elementary school! He was up at 5:30am and ready for breakfast by a staggering 6:15!

He made his own smoothie and ate it out on the deck with out hummingbirds. Oh how I hope this relaxing breakfast time plan can last! I think it would be great to get up enough earlier and succeed in a breakfast together. I stay up too late though! It's a bad habit all of us have and it seems that our good intentions fall apart fast. We will see what happens! Marek is in bed, I am in bed finishing this and Marcus is off finishing his softball game! He's the last one in tonight!

My ponder tonight was about raising multiple kids. I'm impressed! We are busy with one! School, work, sports, life, thinking, reading and playing are keeping us moving. I love all the stuff we do, I generally find it invigorating and fun. Wouldn't do it if I didn't! Cant ever get it all done How to do more with a passel of kids? Perhaps it's my organizational skills? Perhaps I am just smart but scattered? Maybe it's pretty much the same as one? I guess I won't ever know since I'm sticking with one! He's pretty awesome! I can't believe he's in sixth grade already! He plays the sax and loves a full back pack! He also loves to ride the bus because "it gives me time to socialize and talk to my friends!". He's sweet!

Hope all out days are full of wonder!
