SOoooo, some time has passed since my last post. The Geology field trip turned out to be reasonable. That first day was tough, nothing we went to collect was new or particularly interesting. bleh… all the driving around and collecting is tiring but not brain tiring. However, day two was pretty good. I found some awesome pyrite – fool’s gold. Marek got some nice things also. We ended up travelling about 600 miles and finding lots of cool stuff. I am going to get the rock polisher rolling soon and kick up some shiny and fancy rocks and minerals to make into jewelry!
I have recuperated from the trip with some basic laundry, house cleaning and time at the pool! The bad news is that the day after the trip, the transmission blew out of the jeep. Boo! No doubt that will be expensive and a serious drag. On the upside, the pool two days in a row was nice!
I am also working on working out! Had a great wog today with Jenn. I am going to get a schedule, start lifting weights and get it going on soon! I am hoping to go solo at the Wakarusa Off Road in September. 2012 Wakarusa Off Road Challenge Looks like last year there were only three solo women racers with finish times ranging from 3 hours to 3 and a half hours. I need to get faster and stronger. I bet I can do it.
I am settling in to the idea of my new job. Next week I will go in and start cleaning things up and making a good list of things I do and how to do them. Yay. Marek is headed to 4H camp so I am going to have free-er free time than usual. This should be good. I am going to wog with Jenn twice and have dinner and drinks with another friend. Hoping for some quality time with Marcus as well.
Biggest excitement is that I am going kayaking with the Julie’s this Saturday. We are going to start out in the morning and go until we are done, or bored or pooped out! We are going to have a great day. Julie is making vodka soaked gummy bears! Lol, a handy recipe she found. We will also have water and food!
Meanwhile, here are a few pics to catch up the 365! 102 through 106…

Garden bliss! I know I have been a bit wackadoodle lately but I’m working on it! It helps to know that I have family and friends who love me. Thanks!!
