That turned out to be pretty decent.
So after church we went and purchased a new vacuum. This is pretty cool since I just killed the old vacuum the other day and we really can’t go too long without one! I’m pretty sure I sucked up some sort of giant broken plastic piece from the back of Marek’s closet which then blew out the back of the vacuum thus putting it to death. Marcus is skeptical.
In other news, my garden is growing and the berries are ripening.
They are delicious! These are the thorny ones and they are also ginormous.
I also got off my buttocks this afternoon and did a 6ish mile wog through the forest. I love these rocky and complicated trails.
Strangely they sort of make me go faster. They are “technical” running and although I definitely don’t run the whole 6 miles I DO run down and up these sections! Love and happiness! Sadly, while wogging elsewhere on the trail I suffered a freak accident. I somehow stepped on a stick and flipped it up and into my shin. OW!! Pretty cool puncture wound. Of course, I didn’t have any bandages or even a sweat wiping bandana so I ripped my soaking wet t-shirt off and applied pressure. Ugh. Then I took the tape off of my foot and tried to tape it. HA! That lasted another quarter mile or so. Happily, it was enough to stop it. I also learned that it would be worth it to keep the first aide kit in my camel back pack! I also ran on the trail with music for the first time in forever. Not sure it was helpful, but I enjoyed my playlist. I will ponder. These happy flowers made me smile on the trail!
Meanwhile, plenty of time to ponder my plans. I am making endless lists about pros and cons to changing jobs or changing parts of my job. Ahh, perseveration is not my friend. I am continuing to ponder how to fully be the person I want to be in all walks of life. Yeah, fun times! Next week with lots of car time, mom time and waiting time will be good time to ponder.
What are you pondering? How will you deicide? We shall see!
