Wild asters are in bloom all over these days, they are so wild and blowsy. Not attractive plants until the cute and happy little blooms burst out. I am grateful for my family. Even when things are difficult we love each other and learn from each other. I am especially thankful for our health and well being.
I wonder how soon this weather will turn into winter. I hope that it can last at least a few weeks. Maybe a few more days of Indian Summer will reappear. I am grateful for my friends. They bring joy to my life with their presence. They love and care about me and cheer me on when times are tough. They make me laugh and sometimes cry with their caring thoughts and deeds.
I am thankful for natural beauty. I think this is a Compass Flower, a sunflower follows the sun across the sky with it’s face. They are bright and hardy and grow anywhere. They invariably make me smile.
I am grateful for all the little things in my life. Time to walk and observe and be with friends. I am grateful that I have the full life that God has given to me. I am enjoying time with family, friends and creation!
