Whew! Each has had it's own rewards and challenges.
Monday was Board of Education meeting. It was made complex by the need to handle some parent concerns as well as a fairly full agenda. A bit anxiety producing but all went well. I like being on the board, it makes me feel helpful and involved at a different level than usual. Policy, procedure, finances woo hoo! It's nice to feel that I am helping to run our school for our kids.
Tuesday I hosted the first 4H officers meeting for the year. It was good but I was a bit more disorganized than I would have liked. The kids didn't care though! Before the meeting, Marek (treasurer) and his friend Alicen hung out and goofed off. They are pretty funny these days. Friends since they were three, they are still best buds.
Still goofy, too!

Wednesday we had our first 4H meeting of this new year. This means new officers and a bit of chaos. It is also the beginning of my second year as leader. I resolve to involve more parents in more things this year! We had 27 kids present and they did so good at listening! They seemed to have fun and care about what they were voting on and why. Yay! Parents meeting in November! Fruit sales coming soon! (actually excites about this - .99 per pound for the citrus minimum quantity of 20 pounds. Let me know if you want fresh fruit in time for Christmas. Should be interesting at the very least!
Tonight we went to Marek's band concert. It was well done well! They sounded good. Fun times.

Tomorrow evening we will relax and putter for the evening. I think my life full of action is also a life full of blessings. I have such a great family. I am daily amazed by each member - usually in a good way (haha!) I am blessed to know and enjoy so many children. They are our hope for the future. They are always fun, funny, entertaining (and sometimes irritating). I am blessed that so many are comfortable with me. I am blessed just to know and daily enjoy so many good people!
