Well, I have been flying from activity to activity and task to task these last few weeks. I am ready for a full and fun weekend celebrating my wonderful husbands 50th birthday. We have had some pretty hard times and have more tough times facing us, but I love him and hope that he enjoys this weekend. I am having a surprise birthday party for him. The first surprise happens this evening, when his best friend rolls into town unexpectedly. This should be fabulous. We will have a relaxing evening at home catching up and hanging out. Tomorrow, the real surprise occurs when a small group of close friends and all of our parents will descend on The Blunderosa to celebrate!! Marcus knows that his parents are arriving tomorrow afternoon but he knows nothing else. I have been very sneaky and he has been very preoccupied so it should be a HUGE shock when the party rolls out on Saturday afternoon.
I have been really, really BUSY! Gasp! I know I said I wouldn't use that word but WOW! Many eggs in the basket and several are cracked! However, it's all good and I'm sure it will magically come together eventually. I leave Tuesday for San Francisco! Yippee! It should be awesome for millions of reasons.
I am running now to finish my lesson plans at school so that my students will have rich and wonderful experiences while I am gone. Then, I will run home with the secretly cooked pulled pork and week whack the yard before anyone shows up!
Have a wonderful weekend!! Next blog will doubtless be from San Francisco!!
