Shewie! Days of vacation! We have the rhythym of the days down now. We are staying with friends, Matt and Alicia. Alicia's sister and her friend Karson are also visiting. This is working pretty well. We are all going with the flow, joining for some activities and hanging out together in the evening. We are, of course, slightly over tired from late nights, early mornings and strange beds!
I like to travel, seeing other parts of the country, exploring new things It is good to visit friends or family while on vacation. It kind of makes it more homey and comfy. I am a bit dissappointed that the weather wasn't better. I guess it was an unrealistic hope. Not as much outdoor activity as I would have liked but fun times nonetheless. We were able to see some interesting things with time for friends.
This afternoon we are heading home. One more vacation stop full of potential for curiosity and relaxation. St. Charles, Missouri is our destination. We have a nice hotel on the river. We will walk around the cute shops and junk stores in the downtown area, walk the Katy trail along the river front and ponder the Lewis and Clarke expedition. We will also sit in the hot tub before bed.
All of this will make arriving home so much better. Time away makes home sweeter I think. In my head I have organized tasks, planned gardens and enjoyed my guys with no actual work being done. This has been nice, but I'm ready to be home!
