Today I was productive with some house cleaning in the morning and some exercise in the afternoon. Yay! Thankfully, despite the fog, the snow has been melting - which has sadly devolved everything into a massive mud state. Pretty endless! Today though, the sun shone and it was around 50 degrees. This is more like Kansas winter - sometimes freezing cold and sometimes a day like this. God is good!

This is the view from the nature trail this afternoon. I was able to wog with my faithful Java. Mercifully the trail is close to my house and paved! It is my favorite place to head for a quick wog year round, unless it's covered with two feet of snow! It is where I taught Marek to ride his bike, pretty tough to learn on big gravel chunks, so we always went there to ride. It is pleasant and predictable for me but it is beautiful and full of fond memories of times well spent.

I continue to be amazed at the link between sunshine and good feelings. Being outside even in fog is better than inside, but somehow the sun makes the mud bearable. I am thankful for a wonderful day!
