What is success?? A quote from Abe!

Yep, I do think that this is pretty true.  President Lincoln is a pretty amazing president to ponder.  He led our country through a difficult time.  He stood up for his ideals and fairly represented the people through use of the constitution.  The more I learn about him the more impressed with him I am.  I am going to make it a goal to read some of his writing or perhaps a biography of Lincoln. 

As a family we have spent quite a bit of time learning about President Lincoln through visiting the Lincoln Museum in Springfield, Il., many sights in Kentucky and now the memorial and Smithsonian Presidential exhibit.  He and his life are pretty fascinating to me and to many Americans.  Actually, many people around the world are inspired and motivated by his teachings.  I learned more new things about him during our trip. 

This quote applies to daily life.  It’s easy to be enthusiastic when all is well and fun in your life.  It is harder to go forward with enthusiasm when times are tough.  Getting there takes perseverance and enthusiasm to move forward.  The moving is success and the arrival at each destination is an extension of this success.  I like it!  I’m enthusiastic about many things and I’m going to keep going with energy and enthusiasm in each and every aspect of my life!!  I hope you are full of enthusiasm with which to face your challenges!  Grab a handful of enthusiasm and get going!!
