Whew! Back to the daily routine. I am also back to a computer so I can share the stockpiled photos of the days! Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday we visited my Grandma Mary. She is my step grandma and the only grandparent that I have left. She is wonderful and soooo sweet but she lives far away. The last time we saw her was when Marek was 10 months old. I’m so glad we were able to see her. We love her.
Marek took this one and I love it! I’m so happy that we were able to make her feel happy and loved. She deserves it. She and my Grandpa were married for 21 years and they made each other very happy. I sincerely wish that we were closer so that we could visit more often. Grandma Mary wrote Marek a letter and handed it to him as we left Friday morning. She told him he would have to open it in the car. In the letter, she told him he was wonderful and that he would be a fine man. She told him that his Great Grandpa would have been proud of him. It made him cry. She inspired him to be great and showed him how little it takes to make others feel wonderful. I would like to find a way to help her feel wonderful more often from far away…. hmmm…
