We have been having a great time on our trip. Much to see and learn - plenty to ponder. This is the belated quote of the week. It applies to much we have seen here in the Nation's Capital. There are so many memorials to loss, to adversity, to inequity and injustice. There are memorials to those who have led us through these trials and taught us to forgive. Many things here are designed to share the ideals of courage, strength and leadership. The history of our nation's travels through difficulty are full of stories and people. Without forgiveness we would have been lost long ago!
