Saying no is hard for me to do. I see that it seems to be hard for Marek as well. We are each interested in many things. We might be "smart but scattered". Marcus seems more in tune with his need for balance and often does a better job of setting limits than we do. This month is going well though. I am relying completely on my calendar and look ahead before adding anything. Even if it is something fun it might be worth missing for a relaxing comfy recharge evening at home.
When you are too busy for much personal recharge or relax time, self care has a different look. I highly recommend making time to change your sheets! You feel productive and when you climb onto those crispy, fresh sheets you feel SO good! I like to spray a little fresh aromatherapy spray on my side - lavender or peppermint lightly spritzed is a relaxing touch. This is a happy feeling and once you're in you can breathe deeply - 4 counts for in, then hold 4, then release for 4. A few of these and you'll be ready for deep sleep! So refreshing you'll be ready for a whole new day!
