#38 Saturday A beautiful day. The in-laws came to visit for the weekend. It was lovely. We had plenty of relaxation and conversation. We played hearts for hours, our tradition, it was awesome. We also went to the Dinner Theater for their 80th birthday presents. It was fun to enjoy their gift in person as a family instead of sending something in the mail.
#39 Sunday Happy Easter!!
#40 Monday - I had a great day with my mom! We took a bike ride together after lunch. We also spent some time as the biking garden robbers for a friend. Long story but a good deed. It was nice to just hang out together for a change. We are both very active so we sometimes fail to schedule hang out time. Pledge to do better this summer!!
#41 Tuesday – Track meet number 2! Marek got the gold for 7th grade boys long jump. 12 feet 7 inches! Not bad!! He also took first in the 75 meter hurdles and his 4x1 team took first as well. They rocked! If you aren’t a track person, the 4x1 involves 4 people each running 100 meters. He seems to love running and he is certainly good a jumping! I like track meets they are a bit super slow and strangely frenetic all at the same time. However, they give the kids time to hang out and socialize even as they work hard at their event. 
#42 Wednesday A Full Day but a Beautiful one!! It was 4H night and there was a practice baseball game simultaneously. Made for a small meeting but it was fun. It turned bold so the boys were cold but they seemed to have a good time.
#43 Thursday – Don’t know what type of bird this is… a loon? It was pretty big and cool.
I’m bummed by the weather turning cold and wet just in time for the weekend. We really need the rain but I was actually hoping to putter and work in the yard this weekend. I guess we will see what the weekend brings! No doubt it will bring something fun and interesting! Hope yours does as well!
