I spent the day at the Wyandotte County Water Rally with some of my students. We helped out and presented information about recycling. The boys dressed up as a big foot, funny, it wasn’t Bigfoot, it was a big foot!
They were mostly funny. It was a good day for them. I was very ready to go home and work in the garden by the end of the day! I finished the second layer of blocks on my raised bed. I moved some soil and got some projects situated now I just need some more time without rain to polish things off! Too bad the weather is supposed to be absolutely hideous this weekend! As I finished up in the dark, it started to thunder and eventually rained. I am super optimistic about it not raining in the morning. At the very least I could get some mulch moved. We shall see!
