It was a gorgeous week. Very spring… sunny and warm at the peak of the day but cool in the morning and evening. Shorts and a hoodie are the perfect outfit. Truly Kansas.
A chance to kayak presented itself on Thursday afternoon. It was awesome! I was joined by two good friends. It was nice to hang out! Although it was cloudy and windy we had a good time. We crossed the lake into the wind for a hard workout the crossed back to meander down the shoreline. The clouds cleared away and we had time to talk. Took this picture with my phone (which sucks! but that is a different story!!)
My girl Java. She is getting older and stiffer each day. I do love her so much. She is slowing down but still loves to go outside and play with me. I am worried about how much longer she will be with us. She is such a good dog.
