Wednesday #55

The roses are blooming.  So beautiful.  A friend gave this to me and I was touched by the thought.  Perhaps a bit wistful.  

Meanwhile, I’ve been reviewing my fitness goals recently.  I feel like I’ve been slacking a bit but I’m feeling pretty good.  I am really missing my twice a week group exercise classes with Kristen.  I need the cross training and companionship of group exercise.  Not to mention the fact that I could really use some deep stretching and the weekly yoga/pilates was awesome!  I think that I will need to join a gym next fall.  This spring and summer I can run around outside and working in the garden will work some different muscle groups.  I think I will try to fit in some consistent weight lifting this season.  Looks like I won’t be doing the Smithville Adventure Race on May 5th.  That day is full of activity for our family.  I am pondering the Rock On Lake Perry half marathon or 5K.  Ironically the 5K seems too short and the half seems too long.  I guess I’ll decide at the last minute.  Maybe a friend will do one of these with me?!
