Ok, Day two of the Picturing the Holiday thing and my shot number #316…
It is actually quite challenging for me to arrange and then photograph items. Usually I take nature shots or candid shots – I’m sure you have noticed it!
Today’s prompt: Day 2 - Can you find more meaningful enjoyment during the holidays? Today, Tracey challenges you to to look at this holiday season a little differently. Please feel free to share all your thoughts, photos, and inspiration today as we Reframe the Season.
Soooo… after gratitude for the glory of light and nature yesterday, I thought all day about the focus of the season for me and my family. My faith helps me to relax and stay focused on the true meaning of Christmas. It also gives me strength to maintain a positive attitude and positive behaviors with those I love and care about. However, I really like this photo more than my effort about faith! I love this little Swedish Lucia doll. My mom’s grandparents were Swedish and she always told me the story of the Lucia. The Festival of Lights. She also gifted me this Lucia and I love her every Christmas. This photo also depicts my intention to have fun and enjoy the holiday season. I am very happy to be busy and productive but all the running and all the service is only worth it if it is infused with a bit of silliness and fun! Joy and contentment, peace!
