Love is at the top of the list when it comes to the meaning of the holiday season. Love of family, of friends, of ourselves. Love for the Earth, love of the Divine, love for humanity, love of the ages. They say that love is all you need and in so many ways, they are exactly right!
Today, focus on love. Feel it. Be it. Capture it. Share it. So. I made a plan to attempt to capture a photo of the things I love… Marcus, Marek and music – one smooth shot. HA! So, since Marcus and his band were playing at the Grainery, close to home, Marek and I headed out to hang out. Yay, it was a cold and somewhat wet night so the crowd was low but full of friends! We enjoyed hanging out and catching up with a variety of people. We also had a great dinner of BBQ. I dragged along a metal heart shape to solidify my image…this is my first effort… I actually like it quite a bit…
Then, after much convincing… Marek stood with the heart … I got this –
But then, the best opportunity of all happened… Marek was asked to sit in for a song on the drums! Too funny, as Marek doesn’t really play the drums – he just plays on the drums. But what a great shot to answer the prompt! I LOVE Marcus, Marek and music and regardless of the season they all fill my heart with LOVE.

It was a fun night of dancing and relaxing with the family and some friends. There weren’t a gajillion folks there so we had room to dance and time to chat. I had been reluctant to take Marek along but it turned out to be great for our family. Much enjoyment for each of us. He really isn’t much of a dancer though! Lol, I hope you are having a great season, can’t believe it is the “holiday” season really. Hope you are finding time to enjoy your family and friends!!
