FUN!! On Monday after school I spent a couple of hours taking photos of my dear friends Jennifer and Brian and their totally cute kids. It was fun and exciting. I think I got some pretty good shots. I learned a lot about taking portrait shots. First, it becomes easier when you know your location and the best spots and angles to shoot. Second, a flash would be helpful to alleviate shadows. Third, if you know what you are doing you probably don’t have to take a million shots! I took a million shots! Many of them were essentially the same – good or bad. Also, I imagine that many would use adobe photo shop to review and improve their shots. I don’t have adobe photo shop and I probably don’t have the time it would take to learn to use it – it would involve playing with it. HOWEVER, my friend Julie has it and is willing to share it with me so maybe I will find the time and figure it out. I just use my basic windows photo program with it’s basic adjustments. hmmm… I don’t know if there is a difference. Anyway! Here is my favorite …. well, one three of them!
I really enjoyed their family and the fun of photographing them. They are sweet and nice and Jennifer says things like, “All children should have the opportunity to be someone’s treasure.” I love that! I love them and look forward to seeing them again soon! Maybe some spring pictures?

Denise, Thank you so much! I love the photo of Nate with all of us looking at him! That truly captures our family dynamics at this time in our lives, he is our little prince, and I am so happy to have that photo of us! You did a great job and were so energetic and fun! If you can take pictures of us, you can take pictures of anybody!
