Manic Monday~ !

Yep, it is the beginning of another week here in Northeast Kansas.  A million blessings fill the calendar this week; family, friends and fun will partner with work, service and socializing to create a full and fantastic week.  It is with this positive attitude that I plan to approach the week.  I’m sure it will make a big difference – if I can hang on to it that is!

At school, we are fast approaching our seventh annual Water Festival.  This is a hectic but fun time for all of us.  I am hoping it will be a beautiful day.  This week at school will be spent focusing everyone on the future of Thursday.  At home, we are focused on the weekend!  We will leave Friday after school to visit friends near beautiful Tuttle Creek Reservoir in the Flint Hills of Kansas.  A weekend outdoors with friends will be just what the doctor ordered for relaxing!  All three of us are looking forward to the weekend.  I am planning to take the kayak along which should be AWESOME!  We may take the bikes as well.  We always enjoy this annual gathering with friends.

Today, I am focused on getting organized for what will be a very fast week.  Funny how five days can go by at such extremely different speeds based on the activities that you are doing!  Marek doesn’t have a football game this week – yay!  They have a bye which means no late night Thursday which will seriously help us finish packing up the camper for our weekend.  If this gorgeous weather holds all will be well!DSC_0167

I hope that you have been doing well these last weeks!  I have obviously been swampo busy – yet another difficult transition for me.  Not too shocking really.  I am feeling like I am back in rhythm of the school year now that we are a mere 7 weeks into it.  How is the fall season going for you?  Enjoying the glorious weather and all the wonder of the world, I hope!!
