Well, on Monday I did some catching up at home, school and blog! I however, was too lazy to take any type of scenic photo! I pondered it but never got to it so… bedtime phone shot… this is me!
I have been fighting a cold this week. Running the CROP Walk, 5K on Sunday didn’t beat it out of me, tons of tea and water haven’t done it either. Ugh. Sore throats are not happy making. So, I woke up feeling bleh this morning, it hurt to swallow. Went to work and was feeling worn out until my happy and fabulous kickboxing class. THAT got me re-energized! I am optimistic that I might wake up more perky tomorrow!
I picked up my boy and we headed home. On the way, we saw this beautiful and expressive cow! I love cows. I love living in the wilderness! Even though I sometimes miss the proximity of a fancy coffee shop or convenient shopping or exercising on pavement or in well maintained parks, or diversity … I love living in the wilderness! While I am mostly an extrovert I regain my energy by activities that are introverted. Being outside, working in the garden, reading, walking enjoying the wonders of the world. The wilderness affords me these opportunities! I can make my own coffee and put whole, fresh from the farm organic milk in it!! Mooo!! This little section of the the wilderness is pretty close to cool cities and amenities – just far enough for built in impulse control!
Hope you are dwelling on the positive this week! Look around for recharging opportunities, you might be surprised what puts a smile on your face!
