A walk in the garden on Wednesday!

Wednesday was a wonderful day!  I felt pretty productive today at work then headed to the trail for a great wog with Jennifer.  We are getting good at this wogging thing.  I absolutely love wogging on the trail.  It is interesting, challenging and beautiful.  It is also pretty hard but worth it.  I haven’t really gotten the bike going as much as I was hoping.  I’m a little terrified of the trail on a bike.  The trails are allegedly some of the toughest in the region and they are pretty steep and rocky in several places.  We will see soon, I’m planning to hit the trail with the bike Friday and Saturday both! 

After the wogging with Jennifer, I came home and belatedly mowed the yard and weeded the garden for awhile.  It was a good night.  The boys were off at ball practice.  My garden is looking pretty good.  I have been eating lettuce for weeks and have much more.  The beautiful plant above is Swiss Chard.  I’m hoping to cook it up this weekend. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

I enjoyed the day overall.  Hard to choose my favorite part of the day.  Some was pretty tough and irritating but the trail wog and the yard time are tied for awesome.  I enjoyed relaxing and wandering with my camera.  I hope you are finding some highlights in your days.  Look for the positive in each day, I’m sure you will find something that is wonderful.  If all else fails, just take a minute to sit, look or listen to nature!
