This week Marek has been attending his third annual Robotics Camp. It is pretty cool. The kids design robots from Lego and then they program them to do specific things with computers. The designs are catered to the specific challenge. They race, have touch sensors for turning, have a sumo-bot competition and a bunch of other crazy techno stuff. I really have no idea and no major interest in this – it’s just not my bag. On the other hand, I LOVE it that Marek thinks it is awesome and seems to be pretty good at it. It is a great combination of engineering and creativity. He, and his friends, love messing with the robotics.
I have been able to walk or ride my bike or work at the library during the time that Marek is at camp. It has been a bit busy but pretty good week so far. We have big fun planned for the weekend, camping! Woohoo! I have a pile of gear ready in the garage and a pile of food in the frig ready for the cooler. Just hoping it doesn’t rain!
Hope you have things to look forward to this weekend!
