Whiny Wednesday!

Oh! What a rotten month! I sincerely try not to whine or complain in this blog but seriously! This month I cracked my iPhone screen and today I deleted ALL my pictures completely! Ugh! I am feeling like an idiot! I have been attempting to be better organized in many areas of my life. Sooo... I have been organizing the files on my computer and on my various flash drives. For reasons unknown to me I had a file on my desk top labeled pictures I decided that it was obviously a duplicate file and I deleted it! Aaahhhh! All my pictures! I sincerely hope and pray that my computer man can restore them somehow. I have the pictures on my iPhone and about 115 random pics I had pulled onto a flash drive to print. Ironically it was my intention to back up all my photos to a flash drive after I "cleaned" up my files. Poop! So, I couldn't focus on this super disappointing problem instead I tried to find some positives.

I enjoyed lunch with my co-workers at the 23rd Street Brewery. Good company, good food and good beer. Mary makes fun of the darkness of my beer, gotta love a porter! Mind you, I love a Bud Lite Lime as well!

I also successfully completed some shopping for my Marek. WooHoo! I think I might head out for a couple more items tomorrow. Almost done with all the choosing of perfect gifts. It is somehow both a chore and a joy - depends on the day and the moment I guess. Tomorrow will be good.

When I got home, Marek was doing some chores. Yay! He was cleaning his room so I helped him finish it up. Since he has a tendency to save everything, his room gets cluttered to say the least. It turned out good today, we seriously tidied, dusted and vacuumed! Amazing, improvement! Also, I found this

Marek has written this on his message board. Wow! That makes my poopy day fade away! He is a joy and helps me to refocus on how truly blessed I am. "Pray for those in need" - in comparison to many others who need, my disappointments are pretty petty! All needs are legitimate but it seems that the hierarchy of needs is true and right!

I am hoping to recover my pictures. If anyone can do it Dan can! I also ordered a new iPhone screen from amazon.com for $8. Julie was able to repair hers using this technique so I know it'll work! She will help me! (The short version of this story is that the warranty and the special apple protection plan DON'T cover accidents and their cost to repair is "about the cost of a new phone" seriously!

Things continue to look up, school is over! Time for enjoyment and relaxation!
