I am grateful for all the exciting opportunities that I have been given.
1. Today, I enjoyed working with my students to get ready for our annual water festival. It's a big day and requires lots of planning but it is usually worth it. We worked outside schlepping our supplies. Beautiful day, enjoyable company. They are funny kids.
2. Marek had an eye appointment which went fine and necessitated a quick dinner with my mom. This is always enjoyable!
3. Everything is all set for another quick trip out of town for training on this character ed grant. Salina is the last stop before the awesome trip to San Francisco!
4. My full life is going to include participating in the Lawrence Crop Walk this Sunday. Our church has participated for 30 years but we have never participated. Marek and I decided that we could make it into an Outdoor Adventure service project. We will walk with at least two people, Austin and Ali and maybe Alex. It is a good cause. .08 cents can feed a preschool child in Burma lunch! Good weather, good cause and good company! Can't wait!
5. My son with his new phone is learning about the endless drama with girls! Ugh! Roller coaster!
Beauty is in the eye of the grateful receiver!
