Yep, today was pretty good! Lots of happiness in my day.
1. This morning was beautiful! Nice outside, no arguing with Marek, made the bus on time!
2. Bootcamp! Yep, sounds tough but it was awesome! Kristin is back from summer break to kick my butt twice a week. Thank God!! Really! I need a schedule and some people to exercise with that keep me going. I’m back on track with week two of regular group exercise!
3. 4H! Yikes! It has been a bit hectic lately with my 4H volunteering but it is all coming together now. Last night we had record book review at my house. Yay! 8 women came together to read all the kids record books. We were pretty fast and very good at thinking of new and better ideas to make next year even better. Pretty productive activity. Tonight I read all the records myself and wrote a little note to each kid. I hope that it will help encourage them.
4. Marek and I had a nice and relaxing evening. We took a walk, picked some apples and ate a delicious salad for dinner. Marcus worked evening but soon he will have some more flexibility.
5. I’m looking forward to the Topeka Water Festival with my students on Thursday. We have been working pretty hard to prepare for this. We have a new blog http://www.jdlaservicelearning.blogspot.com/. I think it’s looking pretty good.
6. I am having a good year at school thus far
7. I’m tired and getting closer to caught up so I’m going to bed! Yay!!
