whoop-dee-doo!

Well, things are hopping in my life!  How are they going for you?  I am enjoying many aspects of my current state of life.

My life has been very full, with a wide variety of people, tasks and events overflowing each day.  Mostly things are good.  I feel like I need to work out some scheduling challenges.  I need  to get back on the work out routine, my sprained ankle is feeling better as is my knee.  Time to get back on the weight lifting and wogging.  I sleep better with exercise and I need to sleep!  For some reason, the drive direction in my new job is messing up my after school workout routine.  I am needing to kick it up a notch.  Soon!

In other news, we really enjoyed the time we spent in Columbia with the Enoch clan seeing the Old 97’s.  If you don’t already love them, then you should check them out!  They are amazing and awesome! It was a great two days, felt like a weekend.  Good times were had by all!

In addition, the job is good and I am enjoying it quite a bit, it ebbs and flows and changes daily.  Always good!  Marek is growing and becoming a great young man.  Loving him.  Not super loving football but we are working through the season.  We have had two junior high football games and two badly broken arms.  Nervous and worried about the boys being hurt. Not to mention that Marek is starving all the time.  He can’t seem to get enough calories.  The school lunch is not enough.  He is eating breakfast here at home (I am doing better at larger and heartier breakfasts.)  I have started sending peanut butter sandwiches to school with him daily.  He eats them before practice.  When he gets home at 6 he eats a normal sized dinner and by 8 he is having a snack.  Whew!  So much food prep!  Lol, I am making an effort to use the crock pot to make quantities of food to be ready when we get home.  Marek is feeling like he is enjoying parts of football but he believes that he is not a football guy but that he might be a cross country runner kind of guy for next year.&ntbsp; I see it as a good plan.

I habitually stay up too late and am forced to wake up and run out fast each morning.  So, I will go to bed now!  I will get a routine soon and I will implement it asap!  Tomorrow is looking like a good day at work followed by some wogging in the woods and a football game in the evening!  Yay!  I will leave you with this photo of my Pogo who I envy.  She has such energy and perseverance.  She really believes that she will someday catch a bird, or squirrel and she never gives up.  She has a great attitude and always gives her all.  I hope I can have the attitude of an insane weenie dog!!

  1. Greetings from North Texas. I write safety booklets for the technicians in our company and I ran across the picture of your stitched up knee while searching Google Images for safety related items. Next thing you know I was miles deep in the Musings and Ponderings. Love it, love it, love it! Keep up the good work. This world needs more sanity from the Kansas prairie. BTW, an old buddy of mine is a retired Kansas State Trooper now living in Phoenix. Six degrees and all that stuff.
