Today was sooo gorgeous! I went outside with the peeps a couple of times today. After school I went to see THESE peeps at the second Knowledge Bowl meet of the year. This is after their sweeping win – both 7th and 8th grade teams won every round. It was pretty interesting. I like knowledge bowl, I love that Marek loves it and I adore all of these good kids that are into it! There are 6 kids on each team, 5 players and one alternate and they compete in trivia contests like Jeopardy or High Q with fast buzzers and much suspense. They were fun! Tomorrow we are following Marek and some of these same kids to the KU Jazz Festival to support the OJSHS Jazz Band. I am sure it will be awesome! It will also involve lunch with my mom and my husband in Lawrence. Nice!
Also, just an update, I have figured out the phone/car thing! I am reading the bible by listening to it on my phone while I commute to and from school. Yay! If I’m not listening to that then I put it on the dash. Yay! If I can keep this going for a week I think I will have a good habit. I am also excited to be going into another good weekend.
