Spring break!

#17 We took an Outdoor Adventure Hike on Saturday.  Fun times!

Well,after a gorgeous weekend  I was hoping for another week of sunshine and beauty, instead I am getting spring rain.  #18

While we really need the rain, I am less than excited for a second day of rain.  As I am sure you know, I prefer to be outside for a variety of activities.  I did actually clean the house yesterday.  Probably the rain was a message from God for me to clean the very dirty house!  It was a nice day really, Marek had a friend over and they ran around in the rain and slept in the camper!  They jumped on the trampoline and ran through the woods and shot their BB guns and started a fire in the rain. #19

They also spent some time in the basement playing instruments and creating a song – to the tune of I am Iron Man!  Oh, my, stuck in my head! 

Today we had a visit to the Dentist for Marek and delivered Matthew back to his folks.  Then we came home and lounged.  It was awesome!  We literally did nothing all day.  This is extraordinarily rare for us.  I read a book and Marek played video games and watched TV.  While that sounds like what boys do, Marek rarely has the time to just play video games or veg out for hours.  Around 10pm as we watched an episode of Top Shot, he turned to me and said, “I love this spring break!”  He is happy to just relax for a change.  Tomorrow is another day though!  We will be running some errands and lunching with a friend.  We might get to take a wog with another friend and then perhaps relax again in the evening!  We shall see!  #20 We did take a rainy, misty hike and I was excited to find that the rain helped the Trillium pop up in the woods.  It’s SPRING! 

I hope you are finding some time to relax and enjoy life.  Sometimes it is hard to do so when the opportunity presents itself you should take advantage!
