# 21 and some thoughts on the day…
Today I checked in with the Orthopedic doctor after 6 weeks. Although I have no pain in my knee at this moment, it still feels somewhat weird. I’ve been doing the exercises intermittently, but I need to do them more. The doctor says running is no good. Boo. It’s only a matter of time until I need another shot or God forbid, some type of surgery. Meanwhile, it doesn’t hurt so I’m going to keep moving to the best of my ability!
I had a great day with my boy today. We went shopping after the doctor and enjoyed the poking around Einstein’s Army Surplus.
Marek was pleased with his purchases. He loves running around in the woods and shooting air soft guns, BB guns or hopefully paintball with his friends. He doesn’t actually have paintball stuff but he has some plans with friends. We also had lunch at a Chinese Buffet, yummy! I always enjoy spending time with Marek. He is a great son. We managed to purchase some new running shoes for him and a few other staples – or at least things he considers staples. Like socks and Nike flip flops! HAHA! He is a good boy and I pray he will be a good man.
Even though it has been raining and raining we took a hike through our woods with the dogs. I am so excited that it is spring – FINALLY! I love seeing all of the signs of spring in the woods. The Redbuds are blooming and all the little early flowers are brightening the woods with their white buds and lacy leaves.
I’m hoping your spring has sprung and bright colors are beginning to color your world. Enjoy them as they emerge after the rain! They are signs of the good to come! (I know, I’m an eternal optimist but really, it’s true, attitude is everything!)
