Yes! It is strangely mild and my cute little crocus has already bloomed! It is the one in the most sheltered area but still!! The new bud is conveniently symbolic for my new and improved attitude and a bit of a plan for the future! I have spent a large chunk of this year being dissatisfied with my job for a variety of reasons. I have suddenly realized that I am getting no where with this disgruntled attitude. I was making myself unhappy and impacting others with this negative attitude. So I changed it! Well, I am working hard to improve it and in fact I have already noticed improvement. Yay me!
I am also working on some bad habits that I have lazily allowed to build. I am going to decrease my phone usage in the car. Well, music and calls. I also took Facebook mobile app off of the front page of my phone. It is too easy to just hit it and scroll Facebook whenever I am bored or want to procrastinate a task. I love my friends and like to follow along but I really could be filling the bored time with something else. For example, reading or artwork or even cleaning the house! I am making the rule that I can only check Facebook from a computer or when I am truly left with nothing to do – waiting to pick Marek up from school would be a primo time.
I am also going to get back to work on some photography skill building. I am going to do some reading and research and take more photos. I am also going to revisit the geocaching activity and master the basic skills – maybe more than basic! We will have some time to hunt for geocaches this spring break.
Last, but not least, I will be going to bed earlier, reading more, and reading some portion of the bible daily. No really!
SO… must go to bed NOW! Love to all!!
