I saw this Monarch Butterfly while I was wogging aka hobbling along at the trail near the lake. It was slowly flapping it’s wings – best guess drying after emerging from it’s chrysalis. Yay! First monarch of the season! They are amazing, migrating all the way to Mexico.
The wogging is slightly painful but I’m moving along and with stretching and ice I will be well! My goal is to hit 12 miles per week – should be easily doable, as long as I build my speed up slowly. The first mile hurts, then I seem to stretch out a bit and it becomes smoother. I will also be riding my bike! Haven’t been on it in too long, dang cold weather and now rain. Hoping to bust that out tomorrow. Wonder what amazing nature thing I will see then?? Pogo is my wogging partner, sadly Java is really a walking partner now. I guess either way it’s good to have a partner!
