Some things I’ve been loving lately!

I have been rediscovering reading lately, it was one of my favorite things but lately I was sort of stuck and couldn’t get into my usual fiction books.  Maybe too many other activities, pulls, tired, pulled into the internet… I really can’t choose just one thing.  BUT the good news is, I’m back to reading more!  I’ve been reading numerous Preston Child books.  I have read them before and loved them but hadn’t read them for awhile.  Check them out! http://www.prestonchild.com/books/  I  have read all of the Pendergast Series and they rock.  I’m currently reading the new Gideon Crew series, there are only two at the moment but there are more planned!  Any of their books are great; suspense, intrigue, drama, murder and mystery!

I have been loving my daily devotional from my Uverse Bible App.  It is a devotional written by Joyce Meyer and it is pretty good.  Strangely timely sometimes.  It is a year long daily devotional and although I sometimes miss a day I have been catching up easily, never getting more than a few days behind at a time.  It is a good tool for keeping me focused on the path in front of me!

I have also been loving the planning of our spring break trip.  I need to put the final reservations in place within the next couple of days.  I bought the tickets for our visit to the White Sox Spring training game that we will be attending.  Woohoo!  Hotel reservations along the route will be coming next.  Then I will start making lists of possible things to do and places to go along the way.  I really like planning trips!  Fun to do!

I had the opportunity to take photos of a friends’ baby Saturday.

Fun times!  My goal was to provide a good set of photos for the family and to have a free opportunity to try out infant photography.  It was fun but challenging.  I took the pictures at their house and I think that I learned a lot about light and setting.

I have also been loving the progress on the basement!  Marek is moving into his room, in fact, he has slept there for a couple of days.  It has been a lot of work, I dumped out every single box, crate or tub of toys and papers and we are going through them all!  I now have some supplies to take to school to share with other kids.

Hope you are finding some things that are enjoyable in your daily walk.  What is it??
