I fit in a bike ride Sunday afternoon. It was another beautiful day. I saw an eagle while I was biking. They are amazing!
Monday January 16th, 2012 
Yep, that is my awesome son there in the big blur. A family hang out day was had while we visited Children’s Mercy Hospital for Marek’s quarterly check up. He was healthy and grew another couple of inches. He is officially 5’ 7 3/4”, happily his feet seem to be slowing down! After a day of hanging out, we headed home for basketball. Go Bears!
Tuesday January 17th, 2012
Tuesday has been lovely. A day of settling in and working on that organization I was talking about. I got organized at school and have spent a chunk of the evening typing up 4H notes and organizing the next months worth of events. Making plans, looking good.
I had a great workout this evening at kickboxing class. Yay! Sadly, Kristin will be moving on to a new and awesome job in Lawrence soon which means no more kickboxing. Good for Kristin! Bummer for me and the exercise peeps! I’m hoping that we will keep something together as I enjoy group exercise – it keeps me accountable. It is also excellent cross training and adds variety to me life. We will see what emerges within the next couple of weeks. For now, I’m relaxing and heading to bed!! Hope all is good for you and yours!!
