Well, it is November 1st and there is snow in the forecast tomorrow! It will start out nice but end up cold, rainy and apparently there will be flurries! Ugh! I mean I know it fall and Kansas but yikes!! I am not ready for cold weather. I have yard work to do and a variety of other things to do outside without cold. I am getting ready for the Castlewood 8 Hour Adventure Race. Trying to step up training time and nutrition time effective today! I figure at least 45 minutes preferably an hour each day – that should equal about 3-4 miles on the trail, a quick bike ride my kick boxing or yoga class. Now to get the rest of our gear, learn to UTM plot and get familiar with the maps! Shelley is getting her knee checked next week (it has been swollen) – praying that it will be a go from her doctor! should be pretty awesome. We are due an adventure!
