1. Epiphany! Disorganization and a difficult transition from school to summer have caused me to be bleh! Really, I guess the epiphany includes the realization that, ummm... I don't transition well! Duh, like that should have been a no brainer. But it wasn't. Oh well, I caught on (again, possibly an annual issue) and I am back on track as of yesterday! Yay!
2. I spent today visiting 21 different businesses in Topeka to request donations for our big summer project- Fight Against Diabetes! Good day - several tangible responses and more leads to follow. Yay!
3. I enjoyed a wonderful lunch with my mom at the Olive Garden as a break from the fundraising. This was delightful, I love my mom and it was nice to just hang out with her for a change. (insert the photo I should have taken here)
4. Marek is off to church camp until Thursday. This will be good for him and give me a mini break. I sincerely pray that he is moved to be closer to God.
5. After dropping off the boys for camp, my friend Jolene and I went for coffee. This was another activity in the category of delightful! We talked of parenting, marriage and self improvent. She is a good friend and we both struggle with the over committment, too busy flaw. Nice to hang with a woman friend. The added plus is that this points out that I need more girlfriend time. I resolve to make time and to initiate this with friends!
6. I have had a reading jag finishing my Barbara Kingsolver book and three books by Katherine Center. These were all good in very different ways and I think I will blog an author review someday.
7. I sat in my garden with a glass of wine for a portion of writing this blog!

I am going to bed now and I'm going to wake up and kick my own butt out of this funk!
