1. Tie dye. Cool, dude! I taught the kids at diabetes camp how to tie dye and I made a few things on my own. Old school, but fun for me! Here are a few things I dyed - my rule was no new stuff so I dyed things I already had!

Party time tea towels!!

2. Garden. Enough said really, we know I love my garden! Some great heirloom beans I grew - Dragon's Blood - tasty!

3. Beauty!

4. I made my own home made Chevre'!! Goat's milk cheese is super delicious but my source for all things farm-made has not had any chevre' for ages. Hard to feed an addiction to fresh chevre' when there isn't any! So a friend who know I eat weird food called me when a friend of hers tried to give her fresh goats milk! Apparently, they have dairy goats for 4H, which means milking daily - but they don't like goats milk! Lucky me! So, my friend Carolyn graciously gave me her recipe and a starter and wahh-lahh! Chevre' for me! More goats milk is on the way! I will make batches and share with friends and freeze some for future cheese eating!
5. Marek and I found a book at the library about making things from recycled plastic. It seemed cool so we checked it out and gathered up our plastics. We decided to make masks - we have several different masks hanging within our house so it seemed like a good plan. Fun times - drilling, pop rivets, some screws and two hours later wahh-lahh!
"The Face of Recycling"

Marek thought it was cool and wants to make another! I think his mask is smiling!

6. We also got out the scuply and made some stuff. Lids on old jars turned into bright containers for stuff!

7. Tomorrow I am helping the kids with their geology project. I've always like rocks and thanks to Marek I have learned more than I ever thought I would about rocks, minerals and fossils! I am the county wide 4H leader for Geology and I enjoy every minute of it. Tomorrow will be fun.
8. Thursday will be a party all day! Marek gets his cast off. Yay! We also get to hang with some old friends and their families Thursday eventing. I am happy to have this chance to see and be with these friends.
9. I am workig hard to live in the moment, enjoying what is now instead of only working through the list of "things to do" or looking so far into the future i can only see the big things.
10. I did actually take a walk! I'm trying not to dwell on the fact that I have been an exercise slacker. I am just not in the rhythm lately this is a bummer because when I'm in the rhythm I like it! Maybe next week... my trail was pretty flooded...

11. I think, if it's not raining we will have a mini-camping trip Friday through Saturday. Yay! I just can't feature life without some hobbies, interests and activities!
