So grows my garden

Yay! My garden is growing. You will not believe this, the weather we are having has my garden sprouting earlier than ever! I enjoy working the soil and planting things. I love to spend time outside working in the sun and listening to the birds sing. I love growing food - usually more than my little family can eat. I share it with friends and strangers! Joy, in my heart!



Normally, I don't have half as much planted by this time but the hard winter turned to beautiful fresh spring so early!

My food garden looks pretty good. I have divided and shared some strawberry plants and raspberry bushes with friends. Now I just need to wait for growth and continue planting!



I am now working on my flower beds. I have far too many and they all need big improvements. I need to add soil to several areas and buy pea gravel for a path in another. I hope it comes together! I'm pretty random in my planning. I love to be surprised by the new effect I have created!



I am having a Garden Swap Party next Saturday. I hope friends bring their divisions and extra plants to trade while chatting and relaxing in the garden! Fun!
